Gerald L Guy is a retired newspaper editor who lives in Palm Coast, FL, with his wife, Joanne. He received numerous state, regional, and national writing awards during his long journalism career. His pursuit of words began as a sportswriter in his hometown of Warren, Ohio, and led him to editorships in Ohio, Georgia, and Wisconsin. 

He retired in 2004 and moved to Florida the following year. When he’s not writing or editing, he’s walking the scenic trails and sunny beaches of Flagler County.

He has authored more than thirty novels and scores of short stories. They span multiple genres: mystery, historical fiction, fantasy, western, and romance. They include several trilogies — The Brownlee Sibling Mysteries, The Raising Cain Adventures, The McIntyre Adventures, Hostile Territory, Coastal Capers, and The Wolf Pact Saga — and four stand-alone novels. 

In 2026, he published two novels in the McIntyre Adventure series. They include Mountain Hostage and Deadly Tangles. 

Born to Lead is scheduled for release on May 30. It is the autobiography of legendary Warren G. Harding Coach Steve Arnold.
